Residents of all ages and backgrounds are invited to move forward the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the 2020 MLK Day of Service. Join volunteers in making it a ‘day on, not a day off’ by completing a curating project in the Samuel D. Outlaw Blacksmith Shop Museum.

About The Event
The event kicks off at the Samuel D. Outlaw Blacksmith Shop Museum on Boundary Ave in Onancock, with volunteer registration at 2pm, followed by a short program and coffee. Participants then get to work on the curating project from 2:30-4:30pm.
VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP
To volunteer please register by contacting Gerald Boyd at 656-3460. Volunteers will participate in registration, team leading, serving coffee, and curating the Samuel D. Outlaw Memorial Museum collection.
PROJECT NEEDS
Please wear appropriate work clothing and gloves.
